Baby's 2nd Christmas

There's a moment in a day of tears, where I look at you and I'm reminded of how cute you are, how much you love me and your dad and how happy you are with the simplest act of a tickle.

We just celebrated Christmas and you were a pretty good gift-unwrapper. With grandparents piling in throughout the week, we ended up with one new truck, three new babies, one purse, one puppy, too many fake food pieces to count, one phone, one camera, one giant stuffed moose, a few pairs of shoes - what am I missing here?

Your dad and grandma Ortiz generously gifted me with a new computer. OMG. I love it. I didn't think I needed it but it's so much faster. Now, I can chase my entrepreneurial dreams.

Dear Medela,

Are you effing kidding? I wrote this whole thing about how terrible your breast pump return policy is and blogger does not save it. Boo hoo.

In short, you owe Babies R Us $300 since they switched out my pump while you held wait times and buying another one over my head.

I encourage you to find a new policy that benefits pumping moms who don't have an extra $300 laying around just in case the investment they made in your company fails.
